Oooh!
I have a 3 year old daughter!
She loves clothes and playing pretend!
She is not into Barbies yet, but loves baby dolls.
Maybe even one that she can feed and play mommy?
Try the Baby Alive series or even a Cabbage Patch:yes:

Or

Pretend dress up clothes:yes:

you know you open the door for jokes about your cooking adventures but i will play nice today.

Books today a boring to kids. Rather than a book buy the child some preschool software for the computer. Most of these programs a fun entertainment for the child while the child learns. Then there's also progrmas like Freddie Fish they also love to play.

Did that for my daughter and when she finished kindergarten she was skipped to the 2nd grade. I got her started on the PC once she was able to speak sentences.

cant be too boring if they are basing movies off books:lol:

i decided im going to get her cloudy with a chance of meatballs...its one of my favorite childhood books and i think pixar is currently making a movie about it

The software suggestion was not to replace books but an alternative to books. We parents sometime force book after book after book on our kids. That's old school tell me you never got a book when you would've preferred a toy. That's what I was saying about they do get bored at times with books.

My daughter had both software and books. Still today she reads all the Harry Potter books (usually in a day or two) and prefers them in hard cover. But the games on the PC provided a setting that was very personal. My daughter and I spent hundreds of hours together on the PC. It provided some serious father daughter time.
