I am in the Detroit area.

The vast majority of the people I pass and talk with every day seem to be going about business as usual.

NOBODY mentions the political situation. EVERYBODY seems concerned with there personal business as usual and nothing more.

I talked to someone for the first time yesterday who was worried to the point of tears. She has kids.

She is also from a different state.

It is like the town of Stepford here, and the arabs are EXTREMELY quiet these days.

the remorse is starting to kick in & their shame wont allow them to talk about it, remember when they used to be loud & proud & insulting anyone who didnt kiss orange ass ,they all starting to see the slow realization, & shame is kicking in

It's been surprising to me. Two people at my job that I thought were MAGATs hates him. One dude that I KNEW voted for Trump, actually cut off 3 of his family members for voting for Trump. I guess you really can't judge a book by its cover! To answer your question, I guess most folks are just exhausted by the bullshit, and are just trying to live life as best they can.
