i know a few different softwares for web design but for those who do them what software is the more standard or more used by people that would be the most less complicated to use?

From my knowledge, Novices use Microsoft's Frontpage because it is the easiest to use but it has dirty script meaning the html code is somewhat altered by the software. However, Macromedia's Dreamweaver is used by advanced users and/or pros. In Dreamweaver, what you see is what you get unlike Frontpage. :D

if ya wanna be a wizard at web design.. learn how to vbscript.......

also learn how to launch a site from scratch.....and how to inc flash/streaming software/dual doors ... one for html and one for flash clients

do this and ya be in demand !!!!!!!!!

I started with Windows Notepad and an HTML book. Then I found an easier way (for simple, static web pages of course) by copying a web page I like, and edit the information. In Firefox browser, you can copy a web page by clicking View --> Page Source. Save the file and then edit.

If you don't wanna be cheap like me, there are tons of web site programs out there which works just fine.

Dont ever use frontpage EVER you listening.

Get yourself a copy of dreamweaver MX or 8 both are nice. Its good for beginners also pick up a book on HTML or how to use dreamweaver. If you wanna learn HTML then get a html book but if it just for looks just learn how to use dreamweaver
