the idea that something exists because someone is there to observe it is valid. if you were the only thing in the universe - would you exist? how can you be sure?
i like this idea and the heisenberg principle. look too closely at something and you change it so it's different than that you originally intended to look at.

All reality is connected, albeit, individually subjective. Seems paradoxical, but it's not really.
As for focusing on the collective will of the entire universe simultaneously - check out Laplace's Demon. Simply put, if one could compute precisely, the exact location (position) and angular momentum (state of motion) of a single event at an instant, then one could extrapolate that to compute all past and future events that have and will ever occur in the universe. Basically, you can know everything.
Since an entity possessing information (people, machines, etc) can't travel at or faster than the speed of light (shout-out to Einstein's Relativity Theory), this measurement is impossible. Or rather, very highly improbable.
One could, in theory, holla at a black hole while attempting to measure that and get accelerated at the speed of light once you peep the event horizon, but then there's that spaghetti effect shit. Not a good look.

If the tree falls, as governed by the laws of gravity, then all other effects associated with the trees motion in space-time must follw the same congruent laws of nature. This also assumes that an ant in the forest can't make the observation ... or the rabbit the tree probably fell on.

A human has the ability to LEAD masses of people, be it via music, art, literature, teaching... Most never lead, and thus follow in the larger picture of things. Identify the Key people of power that you know in life (jay z, bush, hugo chavez, tiger, oprah whoever). To me it's beyond our ability to lead the masses of the people as an intention of any of those you mentioned. Jay-Z, Oprah, Tiger, ect....... Some people hold the illusion that they can jump into someones life and bring revelation to transform people. Those names mentions are most beneficial because they impact and inspire (i could give a 5 minute lecture on that word alone).
As far as the matrix in god's mind that is projected in this physical setting is a loose analogy to what is really going on. Analogies are never great but it can cast some light on the nature of reality. Presuming that this is similiar to the matrix what new possibilities exist.
