A lot of rappers got exposed by the control verse. They got emotional over something that was harmless. Others became were afraid to battle. Rap battling is no different than a Heat vs Bulls game. Two sides line up and play a tough physical game for 48 minutes and afterward, shake hands dap each other up and be like "Call me later broths".
I wish the rest of the album was better. Maybe I need a few more listens for it to grow on me....
