Diddy is the budget; he could have dropped the producer a few thousand to hold the song. Even that producer said it was Diddy's fault, did you listen the interview?

Again, the producer said it was Puffy's fault that didn't hold the beat for BIG because Puffy didn't give him a few thousand. Also, again, Puffy could have given the producer 6k to hold the two songs, you don't think that Puffy didn't personally have that?
Plus, I already know that Bad Boy is under Arista/Clive Davis, who doesn't know that?

The thing is by the time of Life After Death Puff already had his own in house crew of producers, The Hitmen, who would be much cheaper and easier to control so Puff was probably not motivated to use outside producers.
The producer said 15k in the beginning, however at the end of the video, he said that he would have even accepted 3k each "or something" he said, because of his family situation.
As for Puffy's motivation, he wasn't moving in BIG's best interest, period.

Back in the day, these producers and execs weren’t as integrous as they are nowadays…..somewhat.
Why not call B.I.G. and explain the situation and see if it could get resolved. Call Puff w a deadline.
