That's the problem with this country. People are proud that they don't know anything yet try to act like they're experts in something. To make it worse they think they know more than people who are actually in the professional field.
What's crazy I'm not saying everyone needs to know every single thing but can they at least know basic information like: what is a virus and bacteria,how many branches there is in the government and what each one does,can you locate your country on a map and etc.
More importantly,if you don't know anything just say so. Don't pretend you have all the answers and if you're around an expert I'm pretty sure they're willing to break it down for you.

We live in a society that will listen to unqualified people than actual people that spend their whole lives in a certain field..
The pandemic is the prime example of it.
I completely understand about our people being skeptical about doctors because of the Tuskegee syphilis experiment and how they treat us today..However,it's still no excuse not to know basic elementary, junior and high school science stuff.
What's even more hilarious is that they can spew the same bullshit many times and act like it's true,when it's not.
Me and others have said there's nothing wrong with being an independent thinker but to say the same shit that someone have said isn't being an independent thinker you're just parroting what someone have said. Being an independent thinker requires hundreds of hours of actual research not looking on social media and watching videos on YouTube.
Folks are so anti-Science but won't give up their vehicles, microwaves,phones and etc.
Covid sent more people to medical school than anything else.
