Pow!! 11/5

When i see this shit all i think of is kids destroying their brains for a shot at winning the lottery.
Football ain't the same for me anymore especially when it comes to kids

Yup. And I used to love that shit.

I dunno if there's ANY very area between stoping the run and attempting to destroy the other kid. If there is please find it. Of the goal of sports is to get you and your fam some money and out the hoods , don't try to ruin another person's life to get there.

It's not over reacting at all. No one said it didn't happen before. The fact that it's been happening is the reason we know the effects of it now. There's positives to sports ,especially if a kid can use it to take him through college and possibly some money in the pros. But it's a risk and at some point you end up possibly wrecking someone else's life if not your own or both. I don't expect people to quit playing but at some point the players have to figure out how to maximize the Entertainent value and minimize the injuries. The rules try to, but it ends with the players. This is also why you can't expect much from players associations when they're obviously trying to kill each other on the field.

These kids don't play these days, they'll fuck a mf up with the quickness

You're not getting what I'm saying. Those two young black dudes just crashed into each other. Several of those could possibly effect your BRAIN and BODY. Again, there are positive benefits to team sports and it's good for the growth of a young man. It can also get you to a career , and the competition to get there can make plays like that , which starts taking a toll on you well before you make it. Even if it don't happen to YOU, it can happen and we've all seen it. You saying that this is just child's play means that it's WORSE and thats not good.

dude better look where he's running or he's going to stay getting blasted

not over acting
most of those kids have some form of brain damage by the time they get to the league

look at aaron hernandez

they said his brain looked like shit

and he only played a few seasons

as a parent its irresponsible to let your kids play this game
becuae they dont know what they are signing on to
