After some of the unbelievable shots I've seen the greatest of all time Efren Reyes make, I'd say it is entirely possible.![]()
The vid speed was slowed then sped up.It just looks so fake. It looks like the ball slowed down and then picked up speed again.
i agree not only that the sping is 2 differnt ways if you look at the way the ball is spinning it changes when the vie goes back to normal speed..im going with fake but if im wrong then im wrong. It just looks so fake. It looks like the ball slowed down and then picked up speed again.
On a scale of one to ten, I'm a three. But I do know CGI makes everything look real. My vote is no, but I wanted the opinion of experts
Entirely possible. To me it looks like the same principle as the shot in the clip at the 5:33 mark
The shots in the two videos are actually completely different.
The shot in the first vid seems to violate Einstein law of conservation of energy.
That rotational acceleration at the end of the first video appears to come about not due to the inherent energy from the original shot.
In the second video, there’s some slow down due to friction and the change of momentum of the ball.
Doesn’t seem as though the energy at the end of the first vid can come about w/o any input of energy.
Appears to violate the energy cannot be created or destroyed theory.
Carry on…….

Yes it's possible. These folks talking about physics and tape speed don't know jack about pool. It only looks weird because he used a striped ball with the stripe horizontal.
So glad you took a day off from your duties at NASA to astound us all.![]()
From looking at his other vids I think chitown is absolutely right.
The ball only appears to slowdown to an almost stop and speed up again bc he manipulates the video speed.
Other than that I was spot on w my Physics tutorial. Now I gotta get back to NASA.……….

Yep a lot of top English. Heading to pool league tonight.
