Here are some of the pics I took while I was in Bahrain.

Al Fateh Grand Mosque. Largest mosque in Bahrain. The dome is all fiberglass, the largest in the world made out of that material.

Here's some more of the Bahrain WTC. Notice the three wind vanes integrated into the design. They help provide power to the building.

I did take some night shots from the Ritz-Carlton, but I wasn't too happy the way they came out. So I won't post them here.

That's all for now. Talk to y'all later.

Once again GP nice pics. Damn man, you go to some fly places for your job. Traveling is something I'd like to get in to. There are allot of spots here in the US, and around the world I'd like to see. One way or another I'll get to those places and enjoy what they have to offer. Major props to you sir...

Lovely pics...and, the building with the wind vanes for power in between?!? I wish the US would get more and more into tapping other resources to run these giant, megahouse buildings we are so into building...

I also liked the picture of the camel...I couldn't imagine walking around in a place where a camel is just randomly chilling at

As a person who has never been out of the country let alone off of the east coast, I thank you for pictures like these. It's so much out there that you can't really get from a book or the Travel Channel.

Bahrain is an Arab country. Persian Gulf. Next to Saudi Arabia. Think Palestinian, Saudi, and other Middle Eastern flavors.

Final question, normally any culture exposed to the US military are open to relations with service men. My question are this women open mined to Americans even African American?

they have a lot of asian, kenyan, etop, madagascar, women working over there and indian, just think of dubai and it the same thing only slower.... and also everything we have they have or they are building it better than us... just came from over there. you can get a round trip ticket for about 1100 to 1400 if you search hard, but if you are military you can hop for free.
