I WOULD LOVE to live in a world where I can stand outside a bank in a t-shirt and shorts with my hair grown into a 'fro. Tell people I am a reporter and not get the cops called on me. But alas we don't live in that world! White folks could be right outside open carry to the teeth cops show up and they'd do NOTHING cause "it is their 2nd amendment right".

I get what you're trying to say, but I was pointing out a fact. That sentence by itself you have a point. But I have a whole ass thought before that. What're you cherry picking the post?

These two sections, taken together, provide clear guidance in the circumstances of this incident. The Involved Officer did not carry out a full custody arrest of involved civilian. The Involved Officer stated in his PSB interview that he was not certain if he was going to book the Involved Civilian or cite and release him and the Involved Civilian was not booked and was not transported for further investigation. Operations Orders clearly prohibited the search in this instance.
According to this the cop should've been suspended for one to two days without pay.
They chose to give him remedial training.
