Ok your a father and you find out your kid is on drugs, are you going to (a) go after all the drug dealers around the way for bring the drugs, or (b) get on your kid for taking the drugs..

both. kid first, reiterating all the talks that i had with them about drugs.

and then finding out where the drugs came from and seeing what i can realistically do to stop that particular flow from reaching the children in my area.

i've seen it done, so it can be done.

Now crime and drug use is way down, are you suggesting they go back to doing what they did during the 80/90 instead?

But, that had nothing to do with the government or the cops.

If anything, the government and the cops were aggravating the situation in my city, back in the 80s and 90s. It was crazy.

Now, the drug use is down, but the crime is still high.

Why?

Because drugs are just a convenient excuse for the race war whites have been waging against black people since forever. Drugs are not the problem in Detroit... it is alcoholism, hopelessness.

No Jobs. Schools that teach you to be stupid.
No Loans. No opportunities.
No Black businesses. The local media demonizing the black man and black people every chance they get.
Sky-high insurance rates.
Predatory cops, courts, and lenders.

If it's not drugs, it's just going to be something else as long as the white plague infests black communities.

Your way does not work and will never work because it never addresses the root cause.

All you do is just blame the black man as if that solves anything, while completely ignoring the enemy.

Those who know me, know that I problems with the government (especially when it comes to how we educate our children), but my problems are very specific, outlined with stats to back my claim... On top of that I have a viable solution that is proven to work, where I can site instances where it has worked..
So it is ok to question and challenge the establishment, however please note, you must know what the fuck you are talking about bout, be able to back your claim, and have a solution to challenge the problem that needs to be fixed.. If not your just white noise that nobody has time to hear.. Don't nobody want to hear someone bitching about how the war on drugs cant be won, so they should just make drugs legal.. With out addressing what will happen after that..

Note saying that the black man has control on weather or not to take and sell drugs, is saying that we have the ability to think and act in our best interest..
Taking the stance that we are helpless to take the drugs that are given to use equate us to being closer to farm animals...

Jobs would appear.
Health care would improve.
The schools would get better.
Banks would start lending.
Those criminal records would disappear.
Black businesses would start thriving again.
Black communities would become strong and powerful.

And, all because the few black people who take drugs now, decided to stop.

What I am saying and what I do, is address each problem one by one, not lump them all together by over generalizing...
Folks we must use our minds, use them well, its ok to be upset, want to shake things up and change the world... But before you get all riled up to a frenzy, please talk to your elders, folks that have seen this shit go down before, and who may have a broader incite to whats going on...
Listen to the masters, listen to Malcolm (all of what he had to say, not sound bites that cater to your ego), understand the man as well as the message...
Understand that things and situations change, understand the changes and the new problems we face as a people, and look for viable solutions, not say shit to get off your chest as a way of transferring your fears, anxiety, and hopelessness...
