I've watched them enough and I think this is the year they win the Big Ten and beat Michigan (who they havent beat since around '94 if Im not mistaken) and Ohio State.

38-7 against Temple and they didnt even score in the 1st quarter. Meanwhile OSU is a dogfight against Troy (they are better than Temple but they got their ass whipped last week and they look like Grade A shit this afternoon. Benching Boeckman for Pryor was a hasty move by Tressel. I'm a Michigan fan but real recognize real and PSU is looking familiar...cant say the same for the rest of the league.

#1 USC, #4 Florida, and #9 Wisconsin all loss. Penn State will beat Illinois by at least 7-10 points. After they win they should jump into the top 5 behind OKlahoma, Missouri, the winner of Alabama/Georgia, and Texas. I've been making bread on PSU so far this year....yall better jump on the bandwagon

38-24 Penn State...Illinois was light work like I predicted. The 5-0Nittany Lions should be #5 or #6 in the rankings tomorrow.

Do you guys think they'll beat Wisconsin 2 weeks from now or even Michigan at home in 3 weeks from now?

I Wisconsin is a road game so that doesn't help. Michigan has sucked this year but their defense has looked really good so by then maybe their offense will get their act together to win some games.

if penn state plays ohio state in their schedule (which i think they do) they wont be winning the big ten

Look, Ya'll al know that It's The buckeyes leauge to win every year.So they can get smacked but the Pac - 10 and/or the Sec every year right?

And if you add the robbery against Miami you can.

PSU wins 20-6 against Purdue, next week they're in a huge showdown with the Badgers at Wisconsin.

PSU just murdered Wisconsin. I'm beginning to think that this is the year they will beat Michigan and OSU.

I tried to tell 'em. PSU 48-7 in Camp Randall :eek Penn State has been putting major money in my pockets. Im starting to think since Michigan has beaten PSU 9 STRAIGHT times dating back to around '95 it might get real ugly in Beaver Stadium come Saturday. Ohio State is going to be in some real trouble in 2 weeks if they think Terrel Pyror is going to line up in the shut-gun and run right or left all day.

Iz u out yo rabid azz mind?

Dayum!

I gotta eat my words, Penn State looks like the big dog in the Big Ten.

They got:

Michigan. :smh:

Ohio State.

Indiana.

Michigan State.

The only challenges I see are the Buckeyes and the Spartans.

BTW I am a big Michigan fan.

They smash my team Michigan this week and they have the 2nd biggest game (the 1st was OU vs Texas) of the year against OSU in the HorseShoe

yes, they have tons of talent. I thought they were a fraud in the first half of the Michigan game, but they thundered back so strong that they look like the coaching has improved as well. Good luck, as long as it ain't OSU.

I'm looking forward to that game. Unfortunately as a Michigan and Northwestern fan, I'm mostly stuck with the UM-MSU game for the watching this weekend.

I Like my wildcats to go toa bowl and hopefully they'll finally win one. They have only won the 1949 Rose bowl in their post season, and I don't count that because it was pre-integration.

Good luck against OSU, looking forward to a challenge to Texas??? at the end of the season.

GO BIG TEN!

Can't believe my Wolverines lost to State but like I said, PSU would roll and they didnt let me down. 13-6 win in the 'Shoe and that win put a ton of money in my pocket.

The Big Ten is at a all time low.

Penn State eeked out a win against a OSU squad who got dismantled by USC.

Penn State has a chance to win out and go undefeated in the WEAK Big Ten schedule, but I truly believe they will be destroyed in any BCS bowl.

This is not the same OSU team that played USC, at least with Pryor. Gratefully they removed OSU from the National Title picture. That makes their game against Michigan the only highlight on the schedule.

PSU looked strong in the coaching box after the first half at Michigan. Did not watch last night's game, but the coaching element at PSU combined with their atheletes makes them probably the best case the Big Ten has to win a bowl game. They have modified their game towards the SEC model more than the other Big Ten schools. I am looking forward to the test, though.

Penn State Fans, check this out:

Wally Triplett played for Penn State in the 194os, and was one of the first African-Americans to play varsity football. At this time, much of college football was still segrated, and Penn State even canceled a game against Miami in 1946 because they weren't allowed to bring their African American players. Two years later in 1948, Penn State was invited to play at the Cotton Bowl, and there were rumblings of having meetings to discuss if Penn State should send their African American players to the game. Triplett's teammate and future MVP of the 1948 Cotton Bowl, Steve Suhey put an end to any meetings before they could start. "We are Penn State" he said, "There will be no meetings". The full team traveled to Texas, and Triplett scored the game tying touchdown. Check out Wally Triplett's account in the link.

Wallace Triplett is the first African-American to be drafted by and play for a National Football League team.
