Lancaster, PA - "He hit on the back fender.. This door and that one.. Well this is the worst," John Tshudy said.
John is apparently the latest victim of Lancaster's so called 'Acid Vandal,' a suspect who has hit more than 400 cars in and around the city.
His car was parked on Elm Avenue in Lancaster Township.
"It's rotten," Ernest Hoopengarner stated. "The guy that does all this he shouldn't even be allowed to walk the streets.. He should pay for every dime.. over 400-some thousand dollars. They should confine him in prison for life."
Police say John's car was likely hit by the same person but they are not ruling out the possibility of a copycat.
They believe the vandal has stayed out of trouble recently because he knew he had been spotted last month.
"The fact that he was observed and seen.. That might have caused him to wait as long as he has," Sgt Branner of Lancaster Police said.
John thinks he knows why he was targeted. He has a police logo sticker on his car. He thinks maybe the vandal was trying to send a message.
Either way John hopes the guy is caught, soon.
"Yes I do.. If I catch him.. He's gonna pay for it."
The cost to repair John's car is more than 2 thousand dollars. As we mentioned the reward for information in this case is now up to 18 thousand dollars.
