Paying Bills...How do you do it!!!

Sitting here paying bills and it took all of 5 minutes...My method...I have an exel spreadsheet to track every peny I earn, spend, save and invest. I can tell you how much i payed for gas five years ago. So my spreadsheet has bills I pay with one paycheck and the second check the next set of bills. I pay all bill online and write one check a month for the mortgage.

BTW, I am an engineer hence the spreadsheet.

What is your method!!!

I jumped on auto pay way way early

and I had so many bad experiences with double triple charges I never did it again.

I just use my calendar and get alerts.
 
Some are automatic payments (mortgage, phone, cable, insurance, student loans), others, my wife and I sit down and take care of together.

We use a spreadsheet as well and have all of our monthly bills listed.

Takes about 10 - 15 minutes

Bank gets utilities check and utilities gets bank check. Nigga usually get a 30 days extension to pay for the mistake with a fucking apology letter. Works everyfuckingtime. No bullshit.

I aint NEVER had that kind of touch

a few weeks back I completely forgot to pay the cell phone...I owed like LESS than a month...

they not only texed me? They CALLED me with a notice damn near threatening disconnection...I been with them for over 10 years.

NEVER had an issue.

And they do me or a WEEK late payment?

My cousin STILL owes the gas company like $700 for YEARS!

And STAY having a balance on his cable and phone!

Yeah Man, I once heard someone said, in this country you need good credit and insurance. Long time ago, that was a BGOL Member, ... I dont recall the OP name who dropped some fire about "Improving your credit". I bookmarked that post, took time and followed every advice step by step. Hard work finally pay off for me few years later with having good and solid credit. always remember the OP last statement.."Always live within your means and pay your shit off". Golden advice, pass it on to my children.

I was JUST trying to lower my bill, fam!

I was going to buy my own modem (paying $10 month fee) but since I have phone service too its damn near impossible without paying $150 -$200.

And the internet alone with fees is almost a hundred month.
