So I thought this was a joke at first but my youngest makes jewelry and she made me a special bracelet that looks like the Black Panther totem. I get compliments all the time and every one says she should SELL that.

I never paid it any serious consideration but I have even gotten the same comments at meetings and even on the train.

the other day she started asking me questions about profits!!! I asked her why and she she said its taking a lot of her piggy bank money to buy materials and she wants to get money from the ones she makes to get more materials. She said its fun but she wants to get this robotics set for Christmas, and wants to save money.

Now I think the fact that she is not even 10 years old is way to early to start a business, I think kids should learn about MONEY as EARLY as possible but starting a business is a lot to me.

I wanted to ask the fam if they have every had a similar experience?

and even if I decide to let her...how should I start?

anyone can recommend a book or website specifically for kids about starting their own business?

and a few questions like can she just sell these with no tax ramifications? Does a little kid need and could even GET an LLC?

Is something like this way to much pressure?

appreciate the thoughts.

peace.

I think its an excellent idea for your daughter to start her business. You will need to research issues and guide her and look out for her interests but do not stand in her way.
Very quickly U need to learn about her business and become her sort of manager but leave her free to forge her own path even if you disagree with the paths she chooses.
