That false equivalent was unbelievably WTF

nobody gets mad at all these rich poker players and other gamblers for making bread..so why nigs getting mad cause some people who serve 1000's a people a day, mop up floors, clean bathrooms, empty garbage, serve food, take orders, shovel snow, etc want a lil more bread... people be like it dosent take skill to do fastfood..but ask urself does it really take a shitload of skill to play cards..shit is mostly luck..u could be great at the game and juss get shitty hands all nite or u can be not so great and get a great hand alnite.. i bet u could teach a 10 yr old how to play cards quicker than u could teach them how to run a fastfood spot

I think the minimum wage needs to be raised. But 15 an hour country wide is assassin. In some parts of the country 15 an hour and no kids will get you a nice home, late model car, and money to put away. In others 15 an hour and no kids barley gets you studio, and enough to buy groceries. Living in Charlotte, if fast food workers are making 15, what is UPS making??? They start at like 15. You going to adjust to "make it fair???" Again. 15 is a quality life assuming you dont have kids. Im not coming down on the poor, but I dont believe everyone deserves 15 just because they go to work at a job anyone can do. Give them 9, but 15 is pushing it IMO. Id much rather see the govt make big companies invest that money into programs to help those people rise above menial jobs. That way if workers WANT to do better, they have an easier time getting ahead. Giving those who dont really want to do better is nothing more than giving them painkillers for terminal cancer.

Uhhhh... Charlotte... Hows your credit score bruh??? I dont want to paint a picture that isnt accurate. I make a little more than 15, and also do some side shit.(legal) But it can be done here. You wont be making it rain, you wont be popping tags every weekend, but living below your means isnt about a number. How is your lifestyle???

btw there is a difference between paramedics and EMT's

i know paramedics get more than $15 an hr; EMT's are probably starting at $15

but you have to fight for your demands...especially for a service that is needed like that

strike, protest, etc

people will cave

Uhhhh... Charlotte... Hows your credit score bruh???

man charlotte is not that cheap

youre clearly exaggerating

btw my credit score is excellent but why would i need credit if $15 is so grand there?

The parts of the country where no one wants to live like Tupelo, mississippi.

I edited my post. Maybe 15 is a stretch. But not a fairy tale. And compared to the Chi, Charlotte is cheap as fuck. If you want to live in Balentyne, or Myers Park, South park etc... Yeah, youll need 6 figures to get you in the door. But University, some decent black neighborhoods... No bruh, you dont need to be balling.

Bruh you think UPS starts at 15?

Paramedics don't make under 15 an hour. THATS A LIE.
EMT's make under 15 an hour. They drive. And can do simple shit to save your life but all the heavy work is the Paramedic. Stop letting white people lie to you and running with something off of a false pretense.

Stop getting stuck on semantics. You know damn well the point that they were trying to make. :beatyourass:
I typed "paramedic starting salary" in Google and within two seconds got this:

$31,270

The BLS reports the median annual salary for EMTs and paramedics was $31,270 in 2013. The best-paid 10 percent in the profession made approximately $54,710, while the lowest-earning 10 percent made approximately $20,420.

If you want to make more money as an EMT, you first need to know what the national averages are so you can estimate how your pay rate compares. According to the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average salary in 2012 was $31,020 per year, and $14.91 an hour.

Here are the 2015 numbers: Hourly Rate $11.95 - $22.70

Maybe ten years ago.. shit changed....

So everybody from the package handlers to drivers, to warehouse managers are making 30 an hour and up??? Word???

Now you're going A to Z as leroy would famously say...

But I don't want to disclose what they make....,but lets say some of the people who look down on them...should really be looking up:lol::lol::dance::dance:

Package handlers are part time.... different story ,but it's one of the better part time jobs around

The ONLY fast food workers worth $15 dollars an hour is Chick-fi-la workers. Best customer service on the planet.

I don't look down at UPS or Fed ex workers at all. I deliver beer/wine. It's a cool industry IMO. No I don't know exactly what UPS drivers make. I know it's more than I'm pulling though. I also know Warehouse guys don't make shit compared to the work they actually put in. But it seems people are more interested in arguing over details than my point. Yes as a "Blue collar" working not BGOL balling I know in Charlotte you can have your own nice shit and not be the elite. I stand by that, because I live it.

http://dailycaller.com/2015/10/25/1-in-2-working-americans-make-less-than-30000-a-year/

One in Two Working Americans Make Less Than $30,000 A Year

Fifty-one percent of working Americans make less than $30,000 a year, new data from the Social Security Administration (SSA) shows.

That’s $2,500 a month before taxes and just over the federal poverty level for a family of five. The new numbers come from the National Wage Index, which SSA updates each year based on reported wages subject to the federal income tax.

In 2014, half of working Americans reported an income at or below $28,851 (the median wage), and 51 percent reported an income of less than $30,000. Forty percent are making less than $20,000. The federal government considers a family of four living on an income of less than $24,250 to be impoverished.

A chart below from SSA shows that the difference between the median wage and the average wage continues to widen, signaling a declining middle class. These numbers are not adjusted for inflation...

I never specifically said UPS driver... The warehouse people ain't making 30 an hour to start.
You thinking too hard. Package handlers at UPS start at 8.50 an hr. Package supevisors don't even make 15 an hr, unless you been there some years.

Ok... As stated I don't know the ins and outs of the salary structure at UPS, nor did I feel the need to Google them. I threw out a number based on shit I heard. Don't know distinctions on titles or job duties bruh. I get it. You work for UPS. No beef, but I'm not exactly here to debate what you know about your company.

Dude you can live really damn good on $15k a year here in Houston. My mom worked fro way less and she's retired now with a 5,000 square foot home. It's all how you handle your money bruh....

I honestly don't know if the fam are all the rich elite and are out of touch with exactly what most people make, or if they're on here fronting like they ain't making what allot of people make. In some cities 30k a year won't get you shit, but in Charlotte, with no kids, with the right spending habits... Shit is enough.

30k is not getting you a house, a later model car, and money to save like dude said

i dont care where you live!

hell 30k in some places qualifies you for goverment assistance

Y'all have to look at it the right way.

The question isn't if fast food workers should make so much......the question should be why are other jobs like EMS and others making so little??

bull fucking shit!

youre struggling like a mofo in charlotte too

hell groceries alone are expensive everydamn where

The question was about paramedics. Waitress/waiters and bartenders get tips on top of their salaries.
The WSOP Main Event players each contributed $10K to their "salary" pool - and 90% earned ZERO back.
But you keep on trying to move that goalpost to somehow fit your nonsensical narrative... facts be damned!
