That false equivalent was unbelievably WTFnigs play a kids card game and make millions nobody complain about that
That false equivalent was unbelievably WTF
I think the minimum wage needs to be raised. But 15 an hour country wide is assassin. In some parts of the country 15 an hour and no kids will get you a nice home, late model car, and money to put away. In others 15 an hour and no kids barley gets you studio, and enough to buy groceries. Living in Charlotte, if fast food workers are making 15, what is UPS making??? They start at like 15. You going to adjust to "make it fair???" Again. 15 is a quality life assuming you dont have kids. Im not coming down on the poor, but I dont believe everyone deserves 15 just because they go to work at a job anyone can do. Give them 9, but 15 is pushing it IMO. Id much rather see the govt make big companies invest that money into programs to help those people rise above menial jobs. That way if workers WANT to do better, they have an easier time getting ahead. Giving those who dont really want to do better is nothing more than giving them painkillers for terminal cancer.
please tell me where $15 an hr is getting you all that for a single person?
im packing up my shit and leaving right now
Uhhhh... Charlotte... Hows your credit score bruh???
The parts of the country where no one wants to live like Tupelo, mississippi. In some parts of the country 15 an hour and no kids will get you a nice home, late model car, and money to put away.

youre clearly exaggerating
btw my credit score is excellent but why would i need credit if $15 is so grand there?

Stop getting stuck on semantics. You know damn well the point that they were trying to make.
I typed "paramedic starting salary" in Google and within two seconds got this:
$31,270
The BLS reports the median annual salary for EMTs and paramedics was $31,270 in 2013. The best-paid 10 percent in the profession made approximately $54,710, while the lowest-earning 10 percent made approximately $20,420.
If you want to make more money as an EMT, you first need to know what the national averages are so you can estimate how your pay rate compares. According to the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average salary in 2012 was $31,020 per year, and $14.91 an hour.
Here are the 2015 numbers: Hourly Rate $11.95 - $22.70

So everybody from the package handlers to drivers, to warehouse managers are making 30 an hour and up??? Word???
Now you're going A to Z as leroy would famously say...
But I don't want to disclose what they make....,but lets say some of the people who look down on them...should really be looking up
Package handlers are part time.... different story ,but it's one of the better part time jobs around
please tell me where $15 an hr is getting you all that for a single person?

you kidding?
15/hr is over 30,000 a year
you would be surprised how many grown folk don't make that
Fifty-one percent of working Americans make less than $30,000 a year, new data from the Social Security Administration (SSA) shows.
That’s $2,500 a month before taxes and just over the federal poverty level for a family of five. The new numbers come from the National Wage Index, which SSA updates each year based on reported wages subject to the federal income tax.
In 2014, half of working Americans reported an income at or below $28,851 (the median wage), and 51 percent reported an income of less than $30,000. Forty percent are making less than $20,000. The federal government considers a family of four living on an income of less than $24,250 to be impoverished.
A chart below from SSA shows that the difference between the median wage and the average wage continues to widen, signaling a declining middle class. These numbers are not adjusted for inflation...
You thinking too hard. Package handlers at UPS start at 8.50 an hr. Package supevisors don't even make 15 an hr, unless you been there some years.I never specifically said UPS driver... The warehouse people ain't making 30 an hour to start.

Dude you can live really damn good on $15k a year here in Houston. My mom worked fro way less and she's retired now with a 5,000 square foot home. It's all how you handle your money bruh....

I honestly don't know if the fam are all the rich elite and are out of touch with exactly what most people make, or if they're on here fronting like they ain't making what allot of people make. In some cities 30k a year won't get you shit, but in Charlotte, with no kids, with the right spending habits... Shit is enough.
The question was about paramedics. Waitress/waiters and bartenders get tips on top of their salaries.there are plent of waitress/waiters and bartenders making more than that do nigs be mad at them to
bull fucking shit!
youre struggling like a mofo in charlotte too
hell groceries alone are expensive everydamn where
