Ortiz vs. Martin

Luis Ortiz survived two knockdowns to score a sixth-round stoppage of Charles Martin in a heavyweight fight Saturday night at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida.
In the beginning, it was rocky for Ortiz. He was floored in the opening round after Martin connected with a left cross behind the ear and then again in Round 4 following a jab.
(Ortiz hit Martin so hard that he went to the corner momentarily and had a conversation with himself.)

charles martin has a weird fighting style,

its like he is focused but fighting scared..

he is too big for his jabs not to have any snap to it....

only basing it off the little bit I saw tho, never seen

him fight before... he seems one dimensional...

just lookin for that haymaker right hook...

That ref ain't shit for not stopping that fight sooner, he was obviously out if it after the first hit.
Oddly enough it did seem like he recovered his sensibilities a little bit after that....but yeah, the ref could have easily stopped it when dude simply froze...dude was absolutely defenseless against a certified KO artist....nobody would have complained at that stoppage

Ortiz age 42, I keep saying everyone ain't George Foreman, but then again the Heavyweight division is a mess right now and wide open for newcomer to take over like Tyson did but I don't see one on the scene right now.

I also liked the Jonnie Rice vs. Michael Coffie on the undercard …
