Anyone have experience ordering from Alibaba.com (not AliExpress.com)? Did you get what you ordered? In what condition did you receive your order? Would you order from them again?

Amazon.com has me spoiled with next-day delivery. So when I see the 4-8 WEEK delivery time for Alibaba.com, I'm like fuck that. But, you can't beat their dirt-cheap prices. I may have to relent and just do it.

We've ordered from vendors in the past. Had no issues. We had products made with custom packaging. Went smoothly. Read the reviews of the sellers to get an idea of how long they've been on the site.

I get stuff made custom from there all the time. air fresheners, stickers, key chains, flags, etc..

just make sure its a real vendor with reviews, and you will be good. shipping and stuff takes time, since most of it comes from china. worth the wait for the money saved for me. just have to plan ahead, if you are doing it for ecommerce.

I've ordered a lot of ish from Alibaba and Express.

Alibaba just takes a lot longer to ship but as long as you order from a "gold" supplier or seller with a lot of positive feedback then youll be good.

To test quality before buying bulk, most companies let you order a sample pack. If they don't offer one, ask. Most will comply for future business especially if you say you own a big business in the US and that the sample is just the first of the 1000's of pieces you will order if the quality is good.

yes... it takes a little while but they do what they say they gonna do.

Yes I have stuff manufactured all the time. I deal with a few vendors. The most time me waiting for what I get done is the manufacturing. Many of my parts are custom made, metal parts. So casting and CNC and finishing takes time depending on what it is. My stuff is usually shipped FedEx and takes a week.

I have friends who do rentals like tables, chairs, tents, blow up bouncy houses. My boy has ordered entire trailers of stuff and delivered via boat.

You just have to know you transacting thru Alibaba and with a legit company not some fly by nite. Uou can come across brokers who rep companies but they will just make money on top of dealing direct with companies.

Don't know what you're buying but do an RFQ, and let many bid for you. Bullshit them and tell them you're getting it cheaper from another, can they do any better. It gets annoying cause they will come at you many ways to get your biz. Meaning they will message you, email you, WhatsApp and call. Just get the cheapest price and best quality for the turnaround you need.
