Homie was a beast... One of reasons I got into watching pro wrestling.

Allen James Coage (October 22, 1943 – March 6, 2007), also known as Bad News Brown and Bad News Allen, was an American-Canadian professional wrestler with the WWF among many other companies. He was also the 1976 Olympic bronze medal winner in judo, in the heavyweight division. He remains the only American heavyweight to have a won an Olympic medal in judo. In wrestling circles Bad News is widely regarded as the greatest ever wrestler not to capture WWF gold. Insiders believed this was due to his poor focus whilst in-ring including his strutting and cheating antics.

As written in the autobiography of the Dynamite Kid, his well-known toughness was accentuated in a confrontation involving André the Giant, who had made a racist comment on a tour bus for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Coage overheard it and made the driver stop the bus, walking off and yelling at the Giant to get off and fight him one on one. In one of the few times anyone can remember him backing down from someone, Andre did not move from his seat and later apologized for the remark.

I loved his finisher the Ghetto Blaster (back brain kick). To be honest with you a lot of wrestlers belong in the HOF. I can name 20 off the top of my head from WCCW, the one ran by the Von Erichs that produced Percy Pringle, Iceman King Parson, Eddie Gilbert, and a few others. I hate WWE now. Its bullshyt.

The WWE owns the video library of WCCW.. They show episodes of WCCW on WWE 24/7.. Freebird Michael Hayes and Kevin Von Erichs host it..
 
Haha :lol: Big Andre didn't want no parts of Bad News. Just looking at him Andre was like fuck that, I good.
 
this nigga gets props from damn near every old timer as being a legit badass...even in japan where they're shoot oriented no one dared over to do that shit to him...ghetto blaster is still one of the most thoroughest finishers...im proud to say i actually used it on this kid in a fight and knocked his ass smooth out...R.I.P
 
He was bad ass. He was actually a face for a stretch but was an awesome heel. The only other wrestler who put fear in mofos in real life was Meng(Haku). Imagine both of them in a bar full of racist rednecks. Those two alone would clear it out.
