Olympic Boxing

Thats one thing I've noticed.

What the hell happened to the US boxers in the olympics?

I actually enjoyed what little boxing I got to see. Don't have cable, but Telemundo had quite alot of olympic coverage at night time. And unlike the U.S. stations, had no problem covering events where there were no U.S. participants. So we got to see Cubans, Venezuelans, Nigerians, etc. get to fight

Same here with the BBC showing quite a lot of non british fighters as well. Showed on average at least 6-8 fights per day.

The BBC also had 6 other channels devoted to different live olympic events when they took place, e.g. table tennis, badminton, handball etc.

I found it almost unwatchable....from all the cheating, rotten scoring, clutching, grabbing and holding...this was the worse.

skill level of some of the "Top " Boxers was terrible ...
cats score ,get a lead then hold/grab to run out the clock

plus judges were blind - punches land flush and they dont score it
:smh: body punches very seldom score

they need to change this before the next Olympics
