There's been too much Hate...Time to Appreciate.
This is the Official BGOL iPhone Appreciation Thread!
Haters Please Respect this thread...it is for iPhone appreciation, news, resources and discussions ONLY.

Let Muddy start it off by offering this new iPhone App. It's called "iToner". I've been using it for a few weeks and it is great for creating your own ringtones. It's a very simple program to use...just drag your sound file into the iPhone image and sync! This is the 30 day trial and it is fully operational. Just erase and reload the program when it expires. (until we get a crack :D) ENJOY!

No hacks. No per-ringtone fees.
Unlimited custom ringtones for your iPhone!

Drag, drop, and sync.

iToner enables you to quickly transfer custom ringtones for your iPhone - without modifying, hacking or having to reset your iPhone. Simply drag and drop your MP3, AAC, WAVE, or AIFF audio files on iToner's window, click the Sync button, and you're done.

Your iPhone. Customized.

Your iPhone allows you to assign different ringtones for your different contacts. With iToner, now you can have a Barry White ringtone for when your girlfriend calls, Frank Zappa for when your college buddies ring you up, or the theme from Jaws for when your boss is calling.

How big can iPhone market become? http://www.cnbc.com/id/23593709/site/14081545?__source=yahoo|headline|quote|text|&par=yahoo
“It’s clear that the platform is gaining momentum,” states Jim Goldman (cnbc.com). Goldman’s comments stem from the revelation this morning that more than “100,000 iPhone developers downloaded the beta version of the SDK in the first four days that it was available.” And to the fact that Intuit, Namco Networks, NetSuite, PopCap, Rocket Mobile, Six Apart, and THQ Wireless have joined Sega, salesforce.com, Electronic Arts, and ePocrates in expressing enthusiasm for the SDK and their interest in creating software for iPhone.

iPhone SDK “sets the bar high” for mobile software http://weblog.infoworld.com/yager/archives/2008/03/apple_iphone_sd.html?source=rss
Tom Yager (infoworld.com) expects gobs “of great software for iPhone and iPod touch” by the end of the year. All thanks to the recently released SDK, which Yager describes as “the simplest, best-documented, and most enjoyable experience for mobile application developers.” Comparing it to other mobile software environments, Yager says the iPhone SDK “blows them away.” In fact, Yager contends that once available, iPhone 2.0 software “will instantly transform high-end consumer phones and music players, and it will gradually alter the landscape for commercial mobile devices.”

Doesn't this thread already exist? I could have sworn i seen a thread with Games and Apps and movies for iPhones... I could be wrong and i'm too tired to search right now so Carry On.

Or if you got Garage Band '08, just create in Audacity, export and drag mp3 to Garage Band. Click on "Send Ringtone to iTunes", and sync. I even made a silent ringtone for my jumpoff so it won't ring when she calls, but will when everybody else calls. That way my girl ain't sweatin me bout why my phone off all the time, or always on silent. I just turn vibrate off when I get home and on when I leave. It rings and vibrates for all except the side piece. She vibrates when I switch it on, but is the only silent call when I switch it off. Works for me.

Still too bulky for me. It just doesnt have that "drop your iPhone and come buy me" appeal.

I've had several different smart phones before getting this phone. I was really disappointed by the lack of common apps, but after I learned how to maneuver and saw the potential that it had, it is indeed the best phone I've ever had. And I'm still copping that N96 when it comes out to go along side this.

Why do they have to be "utter bullshit?" Is it more feasible for it to be a "P$ir" iPhone? I never said I was on Verizons network.

Which theme is that you have on your iphone? And what app allows you to put the "enter at your own risk" tag?

The theme is "Buuf 2" based on the icons from Paul Davey, (DeviantArt Link). The lock screen is a custom made by me using a DAIM wall. The apps I used are Customize and Summerboard. You can find all the info you need on modmyifone. com.
