damn, did not expect Lalo to die so quick. what they gonna do with the other 5 episodes? Brian Cranston and Aaron Paul supposedly will return.

The "it wasnt me, it was Ignacio" line was said for the first time chronologically. But even Saul/Jimmy is smart enough to know Lalo is dead, so not sure why he said it in Breaking Bad.

was that Kuby opening up the gate?

for gus to tell hector he was the last salamanca in breaking bad-it made sense he killed lalo-it was a proper sendoff

i guess the way walt and jesse rolled up on him brought back memories of that night-i'm sure jimmy has some permanent PTSD from what happened

Mike never told Saul and Kim that Lalo is dead. I don't remember it, but he said something along the lines of he's not coming back. Which could mean anything.

For all he knew, Lalo sent some people to finish him off before he died.
this is the only thing that makes sense to me. He and Kim get PTSD, and as a result Kim somehow dies or kills herself. This ends the Wexler storyline. Jimmy's PTSD carries over into Breaking Bad.

He implied Gus was dead . When Jimmy was spooked and kept goin on about lalo, Mike was lik here’s the story, but Saul kept on like but Lalo is coming , Mike said i don’t think you understood me, Lalo is not coming back with emphasis. I think in BB Saul thought it was a retaliation for Nacho or Lalo, not them personally

Great episode. Perfect way to return after the break for part 2 of the season.

Listened to a recap podcast this morning & they liked some of the visual scene references / callbacks to Breaking Bad.

When Saul tipped the chair over and was facing Howard's body ... reminded them of when Don Eladio forced Fring to stare at his dead business partner poolside.

Kim heading over to Fring's place ready to shoot once the door had been opened ... Jesse being directed by Walt to head over to Gale's place and take him out ...

Gus telling off Lalo and company prior to killing him ... similar to Nacho (earlier this season on BCS) telling off Gus, Hector, Juan Bolsa, the twins, etc prior to killing himself.

This series has been great. My favorite detail that I thought about is I guess we know why Gus chose the color he did for the secret lab's flooring.

i got a feeling we'll see her again-probably in the gene takovic timeline finale

we're finally here in the BB timeline-the pieces are in place now
man gilligan and gould should give a masterclass to the rest of the writers in hollywood

So should their music supervisor. They know exactly the right music to put in at the right scene. Even if it's something that would never seem to work. They end up being the best ones.

The only person that's even in the ballpark is whoever does songs for Tarantino movies
