Yeah and plus it wouldn’t be a good look with the rest of the players on the team seeing their star QB sitting out when he is healthy to play.
Yeah, usually the excuse would be that he has nothing to play for since they already missed the playoffs, but having him play to get those reps to keep his body moving is important which would help him going into next season being healthy. A lot of teams wouldn't even have their star QB playing the rest of the season sitting him out and would let the backup play even when their franchise QB is healthy to play regardless of how many games they have left.

He didn't put his foot down when George Pickens was late for meetings and even late for a game. That's on him. Pickens was gonna completely show his ass this year. Especially when he didn't ge tthe ball. He had to go. I have no faith that Tomlin even with a QB1 and WR2 will fix this mess with his antiquated style.
