Official 2025 NFL Discussion Thanksgiving edition!!!

Dike look like a steal

Great returner and gadget receiver, but needs work to be a polished route runner and consistent with hands.

Cams top receivers are 2 fourth round a rookie receivers, a 5th round tight end and an undersized 4 year tight end with speed. Ridley Is done for the year and got brick hands this season and Van Jefferson is at best a 4th receiver, plus zero running game with a horrible offensive coaching staff. With a bottom tier oline

Dude is improving weekly and not scared to throw darts, with a competent coaching staff and most likely the number 1 pick in the draft a trade back for assets is the best way to build. WR, Edge rusher and CB need to be addressed.

Ive seem enough from Cam to know he will be good, dude is calm as fuck in the pocket and the arm talent is top notch. Once the game slows down he will be great.

That defense is a motherfucker, their rookie rb a threat and now they got a decent qb.. Don't sleep on them
Gonna keep it a buck 49ers playing for their lives. That defense is scary. Browns offensively is the problem though. I dont know what Shedeur gonna do as a rookie. If Isiah Bond is his only weapon then they gonna have a problem.

Browns want an ugly 16-10 game. They can do that they should be good.

The start of a Thanksgiving Day tradition…

As you settle in to watch the Lions take on the Packers, here’s something worth knowing:

Aside from a World War II hiatus from 1939–1944, Detroit has hosted a Thanksgiving game every single season since 1934.

No other team in pro football has a holiday tradition this old or this consistent.

And it all began with a gamble.

In 1934, the Lions were new to Detroit — a strong team with almost no fan base, overshadowed by the Tigers. Owner George A. Richards needed a breakthrough. So he proposed something no NFL team had ever done:

a nationally broadcast Thanksgiving Day game.

It was a long shot.

But Richards owned a powerful chain of Midwestern radio stations, including Detroit’s giant WJR. By leveraging that network, he convinced NBC to carry the game nationwide — something that instantly turned a local play into a national event.

The result?

A sold-out stadium.

Huge radio audiences.

And an NFL tradition launched in Detroit that endures to this day.

So when the Lions and Packers take the field, you’re not just watching another game.

You’re watching a Michigan original — a holiday tradition born right here in Detroit.

I bet you a Dukes Brothers Special that Myles Garrett will have at least one sack on Sunday vs the 49ers.

Yeah our O-line is mediocre as hell
(Except for Trent Williams)
So I don't doubt Myles Garrett will have 1-2 sacks
(Especially rushing from the other side)
..........But as long as Purdy doesn't get hurt, and we win the game, then its all good

FF question for the fam...

Lions Def against GB

Or

49ers Def against Cleveland?
If Purdy gives them INTs the Browns will win.

This might be a "trap game" for the 9ers
(But I hope I'm wrong though)

** 49ers playing on a short week (previous Monday night game)
** Then they have to play in Cleveland, on Sunday morning
** Plus the weather supposed to be, cold with rain/sleet during the game
** Purdys lack of arm strength might be an issue
** Plus we have always lost to the Browns the past few years
** Purdy's stats have always been terrible playing them (multiple picks & fumbles)

.......... BUT.......... Hopefully this Sunday is different :)
