Dennis Schroder is a perfect example of what not to do.

It's best to get what you can because you'll never see that amount of money ever again.

No it’s not best to get what you can. It’s best to understand who you are and what you can do and also understand what the market thinks you are! Then make a reasonable decision. If the market thought thinks he was a star or all star then he should wait! He would get that and more. But it seems like he’s over valuing himself. Which means he will probably get less…

Broke every important players body in the 2nd round on every other day schedule even after traveling that's fucking unheard of. You always get an extra day when you travel but not this year

I mean Schroder thought he was worth more than the money that was offered to him and now no team is giving him a big contract because of his greed being his downfall along with him constantly getting traded..

If a player is a mid level type player, he needs to take that contract because turning it down could be the last time he see that kind of money offered.

Now if it's a star or superstar player then I would understand them wanting the most money and turning down money they feel isn't enough when they should get paid more.
