Not only what he said, but for all the shit the Lakers get for winning the "bubble chip" they where the ones who lost home field advantage since they were first in the west and had the best overall record. Just got through listening to Howard Bryant on the Bomani Jones podcast.
Bryant said Boston takes the most 3s and the least 2s in the league.
Nobody has ever won a title that way before.
But maybe they'll be the first of many. Maybe it won't be them. But somebody is going to win that way pretty soon.
One question is if that's set in stone as the new model. That might not even be a real question at this point.
The real question might be has the evolution even peaked yet?
