Obsolete Business Practices due to COVID

When the Iphone was released, it was very similar to a deadly virus. It rendered Blackberry obsolete immediately and slowly diminished their marketshare and sales. It was not bailed out or given an SBA loan, it was forced to die off. Why is the government continuing to prop up these obsolete industries at our expense instead of investing in the future?

COVID-19 obsolete industries or companies:

Gambling

After losing all of his retirement money from gambling, this wacko went on a loser killing spree. Many states have passed laws to allow gambling instead of building real industries or manufacturing.



Waitress

Inefficiently serving food to customers by having a female bring your plate and drinks than begging for tips will be eliminated to protect the health of customers who will simply pick up their food.

Sports

Games will be played in quarantined sports facilities will little contact with the public. Crowd noise will be simulated for the players.

Cruise Ships

In Person Meetings

Barbershop/Cosmetology

Customers will buy the equipment and cut their own hair


Gyms

People will incorporate a gym into their house.

Retail Stores/Malls

Movies Theaters

Capitalism

With everything becoming virtual, the number of jobs our economy creates will not be enough. Jobs and companies will have to be simulated and virtualized. Workers will be rotated from jobs to reduce their wear and tear.


The politicians will not tell you that it is over, I will so that you can begin planning for the future. The way you did things in the past are now obsolete.

If we got rid of sports, gambling, and other obsolete business practices such as waitressing that add no value, we can build a vibrant socialist economy using UBI. The demand for oil would drop and infrastructure spending. It would be cheaper to manufacturer since the pool of labor would be great.

If schooling was done online, the benefits and ability to UBI those efficiencies would be tremendous.

Bra Im not even going bald but started cutting my hair bald many years ago bec I HATE waiting hours for a haircut. Even when I use to get my goatee cut. Shit Im not as good as my barber but I cut my goat aight lol
