As if those who didn't fall for hope and change lie know this already.
Re-he-he-he-heeeelayyy. That's sure not what they said after Obama was emaculated into office in 2009. I'm pretty sure in fact that he promised that spending $1.2 trillion on the stimulus boondoggle (including interest since it was all borrowed) would create 3.5 million NEW jobs. Instead, 3 million jobs have been lost, the unemployment rate skyrocketed, is still above 9%, and we have a massive debt to boot. So Carney is right about this White House:

Cantor: Government Doesn't Create The Jobs
That Are Our Top Priority To Create

ijhUMu.png

Rep. Eric Cantor, 2010:
"Government doesn't create jobs and build wealth; entrepreneurs, risk takers and private businesses do."

Majority Leader Eric Cantor, August, 2011.
"Jim, the most important thing we can do for somebody who’s unemployed is to see if we can get them a job. I mean, that’s what needs to be the focus."

So which is it, Rep. Cantor, now that your party is in control of the House of Represenatives and your tax breaks for "job creators" still haven't reduced unemployment? Where are those jobs you think it's so important to create? Or is that just another talking point for why you're not going to extend unemployment benefits or come up with a real jobs program?
