Obama is the first 'CLEAN' Black?

Mr. Biden is equally skeptical—albeit in a slightly more backhanded way—about Mr. Obama. “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” he said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

What the hell does 'clean' mean? I like Obama and how he handles himself, but is he really the FIRST to do so? :smh:

^Clean i.e. not Politically dirty. Doesn't talk shit about his opponents and doesn't sling mud during a campaign. He's the first as far as being a serious contender for the presidency.

The campaign hasn't started yet. ;)

LOL. Exactly but I think he's refering to how he conducted his senatoral campaign. But he was up against Allen Keys so really all he had to do was stand back and let Keys talk his way into a defeat.

So you suggest he's not really clean?

No what I'm saying is that when it comes down to the nitty gritty, i.e. last few months before the Primaries, he'll have some heat thrown at him, and he'll have to respond.

By the way, I think Hillary is going to hurl the most.

I can't believe that Senator Biden would be stupid enough to make an ambiguous statement which could possibly be interpreted as racially insensitive if he didn't mean to do it. Perhaps he's borrowing from the republican book of tricks and engaging in buzz-speak so as to communicate a racist message to a racist majority without actually saying anything he can't equivocate out of.

* ex. when Republicans say welfare queens, young thugs etc... you know what they are really saying. It starts with an "N," and ends with an "igger."

Refresh my memory, but weren't they saying the same things about Colin Powell a few years ago?

(mimicking Chris Rock) "he speaks so well"

Who's gonna be the first to publicly call him a "negro" or "colored"???

My money is on Arnold Swartzenager

Co-sign.. because that could be interpreted as a huge insult considering if he is applying that FIRST to the entire package or to individual attributes he mentioned. What about Colon Powell before him.

In so many words, Biden is saying the only reason Barak is getting attention is because he is black...if you read between the lines.

That's funny but a damn good question. My money is on some old ass politician who didn't spend a lot of time with Black people growing up, still loves Sanford and Son, and remembers when it was polite to refer to a Black person as a "credit to their race."

My money is on Dennis Kucinich.

I think Obama is the first black guy that has a chance because he wasnt a big part of the civil rights movement. That might sound strange but because of that white people dont think he will have those radical pro black views like Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. He got the best chance of all of them. I just think he might not win cause black people dont make up enough voters and half dont vote anyway. I dont care if its him or Hillary as long as Bush gone cuz that white man about to have us in World War 3.

i want obama to win if you havent got his books yet try and pick them up and give them a read gives a good insight into his background and his path that lead to him being in the position he's currently in.

This idiot has made these type of comments before
the last one was about how you cant walk into a 7/11 without dealing with someone with broken english, so whatever, he just thin himself out the herd

Damn, at least he didnt say he wasnt a dirty muthafucker like Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton

clean as in hair cut and shave not like this sharpe talking nigga right here
as2.jpg

jesse jackson needs to fall back and shut the fuck up too all the problems he with illegimate kids and shit like that. obama already said he knew what he meant let it go black people and cracker media outlets. obama already has taken a big step to the parties bid by getting supported by steven starwars spielburg

You can't???? Then you don't know Joe Biden. The fool plain talks too much and just can't help himself. Ask Biden if it's raining, and he'll give you 20 minutes about the history of meteorology.

As one of only six black people in Delaware, I can say that this is no surprise. Delaware is a blue state on the outside, but red down to the bone marrow. These white folk have nothing but negative opinions of blacks, and they try to hush it up, but it comes out eventually how they really feel.

The early attacks confirm Senator Obama scares the hell out of the political status quo (on ALL sides).

Got to give you props for that comment.

For Sen Biden he is got a racist core about him and spends zero time near us. What would posess this punk to suggest Obama meets his white liberal litmus test on the basis of how "clean" and "well-spoken" he feels Obama is?

Like Floss said, Obama got everybody talking and worried about their chances. Most importantly these white politicians on both sides are worried about losing a substantial portion of the black voting block. I hope they keep talking. Those whites got NO love for us.

You can almost accept his remarks as a form of twisted flattery.. Yet out of everything said this concerns me the most I mean, that's a story-book, man," Biden said. Almost implies IMO a man to write about after his demise.

Obama's seems the type not to dissuade from the topics at issue. Let's stick to fixing the problems.
