I know a lot of us including me are emotionally attached to this campaign due to umm... I dunno. Skin color. A seemingly qualified black man running against a seemingly qualified white woman. At least that's how most people see it. But why? Are you going to get an Obama prize when he wins? If you're already personally working to change your own life, what's Obama going to do for you?

Lead your own life and invest your emotions instead in friends and family.

You dunno...skin color? + Obama prize? + What is Obama going to do for you? +
seemingly qualified?

Not what I would call support. I call that pure bullshit.

Get the fuck outta here you mole ass crakkka. Fuck you.

Very True indeed..! Obama is not our savour.. nor is he "our Leader".. what he is.. Is an inspiration to all of us, especially the youth, that we can do anything that we put our mind to..! In spite of all the doubters and haters..!! He shows us that "Yes We Can"... and that our time is now...!!

I hope That each one of us are prepared to "Lead your own life and invest your emotions instead in friends and family."

But in addition take the time to VOTE for him, not just cause he is black.. but he is the Very definition of a Leader (something the world needs right now)..!! Today he demonstrated that (That took courage, Intelligence, and Hart)..! Let US be a example for our future..!!!

Really and truthfully...I believe both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are well qualified for the job and I will vote for either one in November...but Barack just has a certain aura about him and a sense that I can relate to him...And even thought he is racially profiled every day whether it is about his name or race or his politics, he rises to the occasion and give this nation a certain hope and he has started a movement never before seen by anyone...the voter turn-out in just the primaries are just unrealistic and the way he gets attacked daily it's just admirable for someone so high in political office to be so smooth and down to earth.
:yes:OBAMA '08:yes:
:hmm:KNOW YOUR ROLE AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH, JABRONIs:hmm:

Fuck off with this backhanded bullshit...

Wow... I never knew black people could be so sucked into this Obama cult that anyone who posts dissenting views is a "cracker". I know of a another similar cult. It's called the Bush cult and it elected him twice. I'm not anti-Obama. I'm anti-cult. Stop storing all your hope in this man and start working on yourself and your community. Try to think for yourselves. A single man doesn't change the world. Many people as a whole do. If you want significant long term changes, ALL of you need to change. You're not supposed to be loyal to a single person, you're supposed to be loyal to the principles of progression, freedom, democracy, etc., Yes Obama espouses those values, and that's good. Vote for him. But that's not all. There's more to the democratic process than simply voting every 4 years. We all need to change ourselves as a people, mentally, physically etc., We need to stop wasting resources, we need to read more, we need to exercise more, save our money, give back to the community etc.,. There's a lot of stuff we all need to do to become a better country. Don't think you've done your part by simply voting. Make yourself a better person, each and every day.

Relevant representation of our generation? Could you clarify on why you think that? I don't recall there being a generation that was opposed to Obama's views. His ideas ring true for all generations.

You know, on this board anyway, intelligent questions usually get intelligent answers or at least something that resembles intelligent answers. Had you began your rant absent the assumption that the posters on this board are ignorant cultist, perhaps, the responses would have been different.

I agree with you, however, that calling you a cracker was inappropriate because (1) name calling is against our policy on this board; and (2) it doesn't mater whether you're black or white, ignorance has no color.

Now, please explain why you believe that Obama's campaign and/or followers of the campaign are cultist; and why you believe posters on this board are unaware of the other assumptions you opened with.

This is simply stated, a ridiculous post, I believe this is one of the times when the writers opinion should have been muzzled. I support Barack because he has my best interest in mind. His has stepped far over a threshold untouched by any black man in history. That alone speaks wonders. Our children should believe that they too can become president one day. Nuff said-- next time keep that negativity to your self.. OBAMA 2008
