Fly in to Newark Airport...It's the Best Airport in the Area Trust me. You can get to Manhattan in 20 minutes
JFK is in Outta Space, Laguardia is a hot pile of shit

Laguardia and take the m60 into manhattan. If you never have been to ny, take the bus into the city. You will get a good feel for the real nyc. hahaaa

plus 1 on Newark International.!!!

you can take a train right into midtown if you're too cheap to pay a cab.....:)

come on man,
is homie for real or bullshittin?

for real........JFK and LaGuardia are terrible!!!! the only good thing is the Taxi's flat rate into the city......

I'm being serious, I'm a traveler. Go to Newark Airport..
It's 10 Times Cleaner and more organized. After you get off your
flight walk to the "Super Shuttle" Stand... They will take you to Manhattan for about 17 Bucks and drop you off where ever you want. (Make sure you tip the driver)

JFK has made considerable strides and its on par with Newark.

Laguardia is a mess UNLESS you fly Delta or U.S. Airways. They have their own separate terminals that are clean and easy to navigate. Not nearly as crowded and hectic as the central terminal.

go to newark if you can. generally flights out of & to the area are cheaper there cause no one wants to go there but its not RIDICULOUSLY out of the way. also get the earliest flight you can.

You must be driving the car from Men in Black to seriously think you're getting from anywhere in NJ to Manhattan in 20 minutes.

cool peeps.
seems like from the bgol poll (along with my other research) newark it is.
last thing i want to do is have an hour trip into manhattan after paying some fool 60 bucks for a cab ride one way.

WATCH YOUR FUCKING MOUTH,,

Man I had one experience with Newark and I didn't like it. Folks telling you its a couple mins away from midtown are liars, its damn near 45 to one hour to get to penn station. It takes a half hour to get from JFK to penn station. I came into this country via Laguardia and it seemed hectic there.

honestly fam, it can be done.......it all depends on what time you get in.......the Pulaski Skyway is the shit when there's no traffic:yes::yes::yes:

never flew in to newark cause jfk is literally a 20 minute drive from my house...10 minute train ride. but i do know laguardia sucks ass and i avoid flying outta there as much as i can. its an outdated airport in terms of runway layout. they're 2 short and any quick fuck up, you will be in flushing bay.

LOOK HOME BOI,, WHAT YOU WANNA DO IS FLY INTO LGA, BEING THAT IT IS NOT A INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT,, THE FEES ARE LESS, AS SUPPOSE TO NJ.JFK AIRPORT,

NJ/JFK WILL CHARGE YOU A HIGH RATE BASE ON THESE PORT OF ENTERY FEES.

TSA SECURITY FEE $ 12 PER PERSON (STAFF MEMBER'S )DEPEND ON WHAT TERM U LAND @

PORT AUTHORITY LANDING FEE . $100.

AND OTHER SHIT THEY TACK ON ,

BUT ITS BEST TO BOOK UR TIX 3 WEEKS ADVANCE AND YOU WILL COME OUT BETTTER,,

I WORK @ THE AIRPORT 6 YEARS ,, @ JFK ,, I KNOW HOW THEY DO :hmm:

I just told you, Walk to the "Super Shuttle" Stand...it's located in the Cab Section, it's a Turtle Shell Bus. They will take you to Manhattan for 17 Bucks....Drop you off right in front of the place you want.

I KNOW WHEN U BE ON THE EXPRESSWAY U SEE THE PLANS ALMOST LADING ON UR CAR,,

The best one out of the those 3 is the cheapest one with a direct flight. They all have their up's and downs. You can pretty much get to the city in 20 min. from either one (no traffic). You are over thinking the situation, buy ticket, land, get bags, get the fuck out of the airport, pick your mode of transportation and go do whatever it is you came to NY to do. Hundreds of thousands of people use all 3 airports each week, but sometimes you can literally save hundreds by just flying with a different carrier and switching the airport even though they are so close to one another. Depends on who has what specials going.

33,424,110 people pass through Newark Airport and you say no one once to go there.:lol::lol:
Dude it quicker to get from Jersey to Manhattan driving than it is from either of NYC's airport. Has some else has already stated. You also take Amtrack/NJ Transit from the airport.

depends on where ur flying from. If ur staying in Manhattan, Newark soudds like a good guess. much closer.

JFK is nicer, but HUGE.

Laguardia is shit, but it's easy to get through.

COntinental flies out of Newark, and it seems to be cheaper more regularly.

Out of LAG, Delta seems to be the business, or airtran.

I dunno about JFK, I always go to BK, which is closest.

JFK....

take the B15 and get off on New Lots...only minutes away from manhatthan....

j/p....Newark is good becuase its only minutes away from the city....

I say LaGuardia, then JFK. People normally choose Newark to save a buck or two.

And like the other poster said... they know not to call me for a ride when choosing the wrong airport.

it mostly depends on the time your arriving... JFK is good cuz you'll probably get cheaper flights than the other 2. Take a flat rate taxi and you'll be cool. LaGuardia is closer to the city but fewer carriers.

if you are going to NEW YORK CITY why would you go to an airport outside of NEW YORK CITY when there are 2 airports inside NEW YORK CITY? of course people go to newark because like i said a lot of the time you can do better on prices. its like when people are going to south beach for miami carnival, generally the flight to fort lauderdale is cheaper & easier to get

Newark-Liberty is okay if you come in during off-hours. If you come in when the george and tunnels are packed, you're fucked.
LaGuardia has 5,000 foot runways-don't even think about it.
JFK, even though it's a madhouse, it moves. Customs, baggage, etc. Plus the choices in ground transportation are non-parralled @ JFK. You can take the airtrain to the the A train and be in midtown in 40 minutes for $2.50.

peace

:rolleyes::hmm::smh::lol:
Most inaccurate statement in the post.
I can name SEVERAL Places where this is true.
To me, it ALL Depends on WHEN the flight is - early morning or very late @ night, ALL 3 {NWK, LaGuard & JFK}are equal distance from where Im coming from so its relative.
Traffic can come from the VanWych, the QB bridge, GW bridge/tunnels, etc
ALL routes are roughly 20 mins or so from Manhattan with favorable traffic - now rush hour, mid day delays & @ times after 3 Wed-Sun:smh:

peace
