Planet Fitness charges $15 a month for its membership. If this customer expected the premium treatment offered at places like Lifetime Fitness or Equinox, he’d be paying closer to $300 a month, because with that price comes a different level of service and expectation.
To belittle an employee simply because the gym was closing 45 minutes early for cleaning shows a serious lack of character. Choosing to film and post the encounter online in an attempt to shame a young man says far more about the person behind the camera than the one in front of it.
All facts. Some people have busy lives and make an effort to make it to the gym. I get there when I can, normally 2-3 hours before closing. It’s timed so I can do what I need to do. If some dickhead at the counter closed 45 mins early “so he can clean” I’d be mad af.like hot hot. You don’t get to inconvenience the paying customer to convenience yourself. Fucking weirdo

I guarantee you gyms don't need human staff as much as you assume they do. Customers or users only need the equipment and utilities.
In the very near future there won't be any "staff" at gyms, and certainly not staff that are trying to kick customers out before actual closing time and threatening them.

For hygienic reasons you definitely gonna need staff at a gym.. sweat and all kinda germs floating around.. white people don’t wash their hands who know what kinda residue from feces to urine to other bodily fluids getting transfered when their hands touching weights, all kinda buttons, doorknobs, etc.. I’m pretty sure that’s why homie needed 45 mins..all kinda Clorox wipes and steamers probably gotta be used on all kinda exercise machines.. we not even gonna talk about white females and periods, vaginal fluids, and other fluids on their hands and stuff dripping through them tights/shorts
