NY pigs I mean police doing what they do…

I lost track of how many times I have seen pigs murder people going through a mental health crisis. Sadly most of the time it's family who calls those pigs in the first place.

A 19-year-old man experiencing a “mental crisis” was shot dead by NYPD cops when he charged at them with a pair of scissors inside a Queens apartment on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Officers fired at the man on the second floor of an Ozone Park apartment at 101-12 103rd Street around 1:40 p.m. after they initially used Tasers in an attempt to subdue him, NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said during a press conference.
The cops arrived at the scene about two minutes after receiving a 911 call, Chell said.
The police chief said the teenager called 911, though law enforcement sources reported the mother told dispatch, “I think my son is on drugs and is acting erratic.”
Chell said the teen was going through a “mental crisis,” and that the situation between cops and the man became “quite hectic, chaotic and dangerous right away.”
Police responded to a report of an emotionally disturbed person on 103rd Street in the Ozone Park section of Queens.Citizen
When police tried to take the 19-year-old into custody to get him help, he grabbed a pair of scissors from a drawer and rushed at the officers, Chell said.
The officers effectively used their Tasers, Chell said, “but a mother, being a mother, came to the aid of her son to help him, and by doing so, she accidently knocked the Tasers out of his body.”
“At this point, the male picked up the scissors again, came at our officers who had no choice but to defend themselves, discharging their firearms,” Chell said, noting body cam footage would back up the officers
The man was taken to a local hospital where he died.
“This is a tragic incident for the young man, his family and our cops, who are also human beings,” Chell said. “They come here to help, to get this person help. And they never want to use any kind of force in these situations.”
The fatal shooting comes two days after officer Jonathan Diller was tragically shot and killed by a suspect when he attempted to remove him from a car parked in front of a Queens bus stop.

Guy Rivera, 34, who was a passenger in that car, is accused of pulling the trigger and is expected to be charged in the case.
He is currently hospitalized after Diller’s partner returned gunfire and wounded the career criminal. The driver of the car, Lindy Jones, was charged on Wednesday with criminal possession of a weapon.
“Look, as our city mourns for Officer Diller, as we recover from this heinous act of violence against him, our cops still have to be out here 24-7 defending the community and helping the community, and they tried to do it today with a person in mental distress,” Chell said.

Man my uncle had a seize while approaching a red light…
His car was jamming against another car, just so happen a police was passing by.
Apparently the lady cop, was able to pull Unc outta the car, a grown man(maybe she had help, I don’t remember).
He was resisting or not following their commands so you know what happened.
Onlookers was telling them dude was having a seizure. A lady who lived two houses down, was on the scene telling them also…
Just know we had a funeral 2 weeks afterwards.
His 3 kids got broke off, which I took as an admission of guilt from the local PD…
Thank goodness,the counselor survived but far too many times these pigs will shoot a mental patient,a person having medical issues and etc despite folks telling them what's going on..
I know,if I reach inside my pocket trying to get my inhaler during an asthma attack I'll be gunned down...
Cops should not be called to a scene where a person is having a mental breakdown.
Cops are not social workers and have no training in psychology.
A medical person with training should have been on the scene interacting with the mental patient with police in the background.

Its past time to accept that the typical cop is either a moron or a depraved individual. That made absolutely no sense.
Nah.. thats a cop out (no pun intended). Any formal training and minimal amount of common sense would tell you the way he handled that was absolutely inappropriate. I dont think its asking too much to expect police officers to not be violent animals or flat out imbeciles on the job.
As Black people, we should all know by now we should not call the police when we are having family issues.

Well we know for sure he wasn't an illegal immigrant because they don't shoot illegals.
You're right but unfortunately there's no trained medical staff in place that work with police to handle people with mental issue calls.
That needs to change.
When people call the police on family members that are having mental issues, that person is usually about to do harm and the family can't control them.
That person many times have a weapon which can be a knife, gun or something sharp and the family members aren't willing to get hurt or killed trying to stop the person.
They tried and the last resort was to call the police for help.
In short, things need to change.
In this case the police could've continued to try and use the taser once the Mom was away since he wasn't attacking anyone.
The second son was pissing me off, he didn’t understand the situation
