Nurse shows: Hawthorne VS Nurse Jackie

HAWTHORNE


First off both of these shows are damn near identical even some of the characters look alike . I only watched like 15 minutes of Hawthorne before changing the channel (a little to girly for me) Now Nurse Jackie held my interest a bit more mainly because Mrs Soprano is such a beast as an actress and since it's on Showtime more grittier (sex, drug use etc..)

I kind of like HawthoRNe, but its a little stale for me.

They're actually VERY different. HawthoRNe is more conventional soap opera stuff while Nurse Jackie is much grittier and offbeat. Plus, the latter is short and sweet at just 30 minutes.

Nice to see Jada Pinkett Smith getting out there more often now, after spending so much time raising her kids and whatnot. She's a much more interesting (and more skilled) actor than her husband.

Haven't watched any episodes of Hawthorne yet but i can say in my opinion that Nurse Jackie show sucks. I watched the premier episode and it was terrible...
