Because of his off the court problems and the luxury tax, Denver may be inclined to see what sort of package Anthony would yield.
Denver has lost faith in this dude big time. I don't follow Mello closely, but "most" superstars improve their game every year and it is an all-round effort. Driving, foul shots, mid-range jumper - DEFENSE. From what I have seen he made some incremental improvements, but his little off the court/leadership problems seem to be opening the door for his exit.

The trade I was big on was him sending to Memphis for Mike Miller and a few other pieces. That being said, I doubt he would be traded. They will try and move Camby..which is a HUGE mistake.

This actually had nothing to do with A.I. Melo came into camp fat and out of shape. Compound that with the, "Stop Snitching" DVD he was on and the fight from last year..now the DUI. People in Denver have lost faith in dude.
Personally I think there is more to the DUI than is let on. I think he has a real bad drinking problem that needs to be resolved. (This is why he went to go see Lala at a hotel..they were having problems.)
I visit the Denver post frequently. and the fans there are big on him. Plus His his number of shots has decrease while his scoring has remained constant. (which means his free throe percentage is up. His assists were up. and he was deferring to Melo on the court..which is what they WANTED. By the end of the season, Denver people noticed that defering to Melo wasn't winning any games. As a matter of fact it was LOSING games.
I don't think that Melo can handle the pressure.
He lost the enjoyment for the game quite some time ago. The rookie season was his best season as the pressure wasn't too great.
Now I feel he wants out, but is stuck with wanting the plush lifestyle. Otherwise he would be gettin in shape and would have that extra step down the court. IMO I feel K-Mart damaged his knee having to cover too many failed shots by the team...
