NUBIA: The forgotten KINGDOM documentary

thanx playa
ive been wanting to see dis 4 sometime now

knowledge should remain supreme

The day someone figures out how to read the nubian language history shall be rewritten. Nubia is what BGOL pseudo black militants who are obsessed with religion should really pay attention to rather than Egypt. The nubians gave the egyptians their religion and knew better of it's origin than the egyptians. I cannot wait to read about Nubian history and learn who really was Nimrod and how he came to be a worldly figure

If ya'll like that go cop the new issue of National Geograohic. It cover story is the Black Pharoahs of Egypt. It talks about the the period when Nubia controlled Egypt and how they united Egypt.

Excellent post, downloading now, gotta burn this to dvd. Thank You.

Co-sign, you took the words out of my mouth. For the longest historians and archeologist's have been ignoring Nubia. Perhaps, maybe it was because Nubia was to black.

Even as late as the 1940s and 50s, the racial identity of the Nubians remained problematic for "white" scholars. For example, when the bones of the Kushite royalty, recovered from Reisner's excavations, were sent for analysis to the specialists at the Peabody Museum at Harvard, the latter identified them as belonging to the "basic white stock of Egypt". In this case, the osteologists, like Lepsius, Taylor and Reisner, evidently wished to claim them for their "own race.

now lets be real, the only reason this empire was forgotten was the fact that no one could read the written language.

As for theories, I believe that it had to be a civil war.

Reasons...

1. There would be records of conquest if an outside force took over the great nation of Nubia.

2. Nubia had a lot of gold, meaning they had a lot of allies. Thus, more would of been known about the demise of Nubia. If it was invaded I mean...

3. If they influence the Egyptians so much, chances are, they used the same type of work method. Meaning, slave labor. Not to mention, the fact that they had trade agreements with the Romans. Treaty with Rome means new slaves coming in. Meaning, slaves that were probably former royalty in their own right. Which would mean they would resent the Nubian way of life. Only under privilege part of a society would destroy holy relics in this way.

This is my theory, and it can be corrected.

nubia the land of gold - but none was to be found there - its too bad that all her gold were to be later dug out of egyptian pharaohs's tombs!!!!!

and fuckin' ni99as wont fuckin' use their head and listen and think when you're tryin' to tell 'em somethin' - they think they know shhhhhhhhit!!!!!!!!!!

the egyptians plundered every ounce of gold in nubia because the fuckin' egyptians were'nt africans - they were from the middle-east - but ni99as wont fuckin' listen - egypt 's in africa then they must have been black!?!

stay there

Egyptian: Ret (page 435a,b) = Men: We also have "ret na romé" or "We men above mankind." This ideology allows us to understand that there are actually only three races represented here; Black, White, and Semitic since the Egyptians considered themselves in a class of their own, while still showing that they belonged to the Black racial group.

Semite: Namu (page 373b) =Travelers or wanderers: We also have "Namu Sho" or "People who travel the sands": Nomads or Bedu.

Other Africans: Nahasu (pages 344a/386b) = Strangers or barbarians: In Wolof (Senegal), a language as close to the Ancient Egyptian language as modern Egyptian, "nahas" means "good for nothing; worthless."

European: Tamhu (page 855a) = Red people: Tamh = hematite; reddish iron ore; ochre or pale yellow to red.

Interestingly enough the color the Egyptians depicted themselves later changed to the reddish orange tones, closer to the European. That seems to suggest a good deal of mixing or a sea change in who was/became the dominant ruling class ... or a bit of both.
