The reality is, people that pretty much agree with my politics know that if they post ANY good thing about Romney, it would be distorted to high hell.
In the grand scheme of things, you're either going to vote for President Obama, or you not.
You either going to believe that President Obama *without any evidence otherwise* can magically repair this economy. If you believe that, then you should vote for the president.

No one said anything about magic. Pass the infrastructure bills he and the Democrats have put forth, that's a proven job creator. "Obamacare" has been the engine that's kept the healthcare industry as a pretty constant job creating industry, that's proven, that's not magic and that's evidence.
It's not just about President Obama, it's about the guy who wants the job and says "I can do better" and so we want to see the evidence of that. If he's your guy, show us that evidence.
Being an idealogue has put you in a horrible position. Just based on your ideology, you have to support the worst and most dishonest candidate in modern history with nothing concrete to back you up.

Yep. But I think the real error is ALWAYS simply reducing judgment, thought, argument, analysis, etc., to democrats and republicans.

I can defend Romney, I just choose not to. It makes no difference one way, or another.
At the end of the day, President Obama will have to defend his record. It's up to the American voting public to choose if they want President Obama back, or not. It's the same with any incumbent, during any other election.
I defended Bush when EVERYONE was saying that he was the worst president ever *even worse than Carter*. Now, it's you're job to defend President Obama.

And you've tried to defend Romney, you just haven't done a good job. But that's not your fault. He's just a horrible candidate with no details offered to really defend and no positions taken he hasn't been on the opposite side of.

Over the past three years I have been consistent when folks predicted Obama would be a one term president I always asked, who is going to beat him. Still to this day I received no answer...even after folks hopped on the Ricky P bandwagon.
It seems like anybody who opposes Obama aren't really "for" anyone else. That's what I'm getting with the default Romney supporters in person and on the internet. They know he ain't shit but they'll take him over Obama simply because he has an R in front of his name.

I'm actually for something. At least in 2008 McCain supporters could articulate about his ability to cross the isle and govern from the middle and boast his foreign policy experience. With Romney, his claim to fame is a one and done govenor and a 10 year running presidential candidate. His ace of spades was his expertise on the economy but after the forensic autopsy they're doing on his Bain experience, what has they guy got left? That's all I'm asking

Up until recently the "for what?" has been because this is a messageboard focused on Politics so we exchange ideas, often heatedly. It should never been about convincing anyone because anyone that comes to a political board already has their minds set in some way or another.
