I know that this is nothing new but shit like this makes me long for the old days in baseball when a Boston cat (I hate Boston, by the way) would NEVER ask or think of being traded to New York and the Boston management wouldn't either (and vice versa).

Baseball needs a salary cap bad than a mah fuck. All these bullshit trades are silly as fuck.

Look for Damon to struggle in New York. I think it's a bad mix.

First Wade Boggs, then Roger Clemens, now Damon
The hypocrisy of the average Yankee fan sickens me

I excused Boggs, but Clemens was the last straw for
me. I couldn't (in good conscience) support a team with
him on it....

i'm surprised he did that considering how he likes his long beard and free flowing hair. his deal sucks though, there were teams offering way more money and way more guaranteed money. i wonder why he settled there.. oh well.. i guess bosox will have to go thru another year 3 year slide of rebuilding. i wonder whats gonna happen after next year once Big O! is a free agent.

Not many teams can or will offer more money than George
Four years for 50 million ain't bad. Damon wanted more
years, and maybe a couple teams offered it, but NOBODY
could offer the 10-12 million Steinbrenner would....

I feel you on the beard though. But that clean-cut philosophy
didn't do too much for Randy Johnson

Btw, how old is Damon?? If he's over 30, I can't see him
playing CF in NY for too long

Can you support the Metbraves ??? Lmao.

Haha, I don't really hate your Bravos Que. Some of my favorites
throughout the years have been on Atlanta. They play National
League ball, so they are alright with me....

On the other hand, those damn Phillies......

With Boston, the hate goes straight across the board in all
sports. The Saux, the Celtic, Patriots, Bruins. New Edition
Marvin Hagler, Boston Baked Beans....everything

They did have the Boston Tea Party. So they did that right
They also had Bill Russell, who I could never really hate on

But naw....not the Bravos. Except for maybe Greg Maddox
