They've been eating them in some parts of the Caribbean, has nothing to do with being poor or lack of food options. From what I've heard they taste good. They need to start doing something with them in Florida, since they are taking over.

In my freezer right now I have rabbit, kangaroo, kennel (camel), elk, wild boar and alligator. Maybe a little bit more. If it's dead and cooked right I just might eat it as long as it's not human

There is banned international Supermarket called Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati. Their fish Market is unbelievable. Last time I was there I could have bought a whole alligator and a whole hammerhead shark
