Night Patrol starring Justin Long, CM Punk, Freddie Gibbs. (Vampire Cops)

This is what the success of a great film like Sinners does.
It inevitably spawns all types of copycats, knockoffs and imitators.
Hollweird will now crank out any number of vampire films and streaming series involving Black people. :dunno:

Yeah, tonally, storie-wise or stylistically I see no connection with Sinners.

This is more like End of Watch meets Full Eclipse with a dash of Training Day or Brooklyn’s Finest

Yes.
I watched Full Eclipse 30 years ago on cable.
And I'm well aware that Black have been a part of modern vampire lore for a while now.

But what I'm saying is, with the recent success of Sinners, Hollyweird will now attempt to recreate its success by cranking out more vampire films starring Black people but WITHOUT the same sensibilities or soul of a Ryan Coogler. They'll just put a Black face on it, slap it on lunch box and market it to (primarily) White audiences.

Sadly, this is their way... :dunno:
