Add Lastings to the long list of Met bonehead trades....mark my words. They're gonna wish they held onto him. I'll admit he made a couple of bad moves off the field with his rappin' and producing and putting out a CD with his artist which was on some gangsta rap shit, and for losing his cool and being thrown out of the game and suspended, but I would be more understanding if the nigga had commited something on a felony level.


I GUARNTEE U nobody on the team took the time to mentor him or stay in his ass.....most dudes on that team are a bunch of premadonnas anyway...and they got shit in return. I'm a lifelong Met fan, but fuck'em.

After holding onto Milledge through years of trade speculation, the Mets finally dealt him to the Washington Nationals for catcher Brian Schneider and outfielder Ryan Church.

This trade will solidify their bench, but I think they could've gotten the same thing giving up less than Milledge. Who could easliy be starting in CF for the next 10 years if Beltran would just give up trying to be a CFer.

I wonder how Johnny Estrada feels about this trade. Snce they just traded for him earlier in the week and I guarantee Schneider is expecting to start 100+ games

Estrada may never even be in a Met uniform...from what I read they're looking to trade him. Mark my words fam....this trade will be up there with the Scott Kazmir and other bonehead dumb ass trades they've done. I hope the Nationals beat the shit out the Mets when they play them next year like they owned them at the end of the season.
