Some of them are based on Marvel characters. Man-Thing (Ted) was referenced in Thor: Ragnarok as one of the champions. His statue can be seen along with Ares, Beta and Bi-Beast.6/10
I just watched this mini-movie on Disney+.
Not gonna spoil it, but it is completely different from everything else that has come out in Phase 4. It plays out like a 1940s Boris Karloff horror flick in its presentation. This is a Phase 4 production, how it fits in I have no idea at this time.
I’m not familiar with the characters or story, being I have not read a comic since the late 80s. So I’m not the expert to inform you if this story and depiction of its characters follow the books exactly. With what the MCU has been doing, I will suspect they are still following that formula.
The story is centered around Elsa Bloodstone and the Bloodstone Gem. There are 7 other characters in the movie, at this time not sure if they are actual Marvel characters or just invented for the movie. There looks to be a shitload of Easter Eggs scattered thru-out in the film. I will assume a number of you who currently read comics will immediately know who/what they are when you see them.
The movie is pretty much fast paced from start to finish. I was really surprised at the level of violence Disney put into it. It’s one of the things that makes it different from everything else.
The film is just over 50 minutes so it basically plays like a standard MCU episode. Being I’m oblivious to these characters, I went into it blind and mainly watched it for entertainment. I did enjoy it for what it is.

YEAH, I noticed that too.For the Thirsty.
Actress Laura Donnelly plays Elsa Bloodstone in “Werewolf By Night”.
For some reason, they made her look like Krysten Ritter “Jessica Jones” with her hairdo and overall look.
