That's all tv shows are now, well at least network television. That's why there are so many cop and firefighter shows.

Yeah I know but this one didn't even try to hide it.
Which is fine it's all about execution
Matlock Tracker Irrational for example all took the classic molds and flipped them well.
I'm a procedural addict.
I'm going to give this one a chance so far because muck like lie to me I don't see how they can come up with cases for 5 seasons.
It ain't that bad. They just mention it in passing. It has no real effect on the show.

Cool, I don't care about the characters being gay I just can't get into the sexual scenes which can be a bit much.
I'm looking forward to seeing Matlock, I wasn't aware of Tracker I'm going to look into it.
This is network they not gonna show much of anybody.
Matlock has absolutely no right to be as good as it is.

Tracker is... I can't explain it. It's the standard procedural with more testosterone and series long mystery. And I like it.
So far, this is the worst show to debut in Fall 2024. The shit is boring and cliche. I think the network execs thought they had a hit since it's a real story from a gay doctor.
I like High Potential with the quirky genius maid who helps the cops, Matlock is pretty good too. The saving grace for that Rescue Hi-Surf show is that they cast a bunch of Hawaiian models. Doctor Odyssey is probably the second worst, it's cheesy but it goes beyond suspension of disbelief. Cruise ship staff would never fraternize this much with the guests if for no more than the liability issues.

I'm hoping it improves. It's so obviously derivative I hope they don't think just because he is gay that's going to the show different.
High potential was another pleasant surprise. I knew they were going to have a chance with that lead and that cast and the original was good.
I'm about to try Doctor Odyssey. I'm a J Jackson fan and already know how how Ryan Murphy gets down so believable ain't in his vocabulary.
A modern take on Love Boat COULD MIGHT MAYBE work.
