New Superman trailer..3 mins long

The suspension of disbelief is a big part as well.

Just because he puts on glasses and a suit, now mfkrs don't recognize him......?

Same face, same height..... hell the mfkr doesn't even put on a "batman voice" ..... he just speaks more confidently.

I think a lot of people can overlook the "simping," in the name of love...... but hell, name a Lois that's been undeniably hot to simp over?

Damn, maybe that's it!

Mfkr you're superman and you're lusting after an average becky?! How absurd. Bruce Wayne would never!!
Plus he has all the powers in the universe so how are we supposed to get absorbed in a plot when we know, at the end of the day all he has to do is stop holding back?

unless he's near a green rock lol

which BTW is kinda getting old in the movies...shit is lazy..

he's immune in the comics

People are complaining, yet when they had zod crew people complained that the movie was to dark and supes dosent kill, ya got all happy he was gonna fight a rich human..I told ya that movie was gonna suck b4 they even started filming it and they proved my point thoroughly with that save Martha bullshit.. now they giving ya a bright litted movie where he looks like a boy scout saving the world and ya still pissed.. ya should’ve let them kept it dark, kept the rich human out the picture, screw Martha, and someway made part 2 with bizarro.. in fact turn zod into bizarro cause he was that fucking good as a villain we needed him twice.. team man of steel here

His other weakness is magic or sorcery and electricity slows him, down hes pnly ad strong as writers make him. He was ridiculously overpowered during the campy silver age era snd he had weird powers like being able to shoot a mini duplicate of himself out of his hands

Superman's best stories aren't about feats of strength or even battles. The best Superman stories usually involve him dealing with things beyond that.

Morals, ethics, even fundamental principles of creation... these are the things that Clark often has to sort through. And you're given a wider lens for those issues, because, at the end of the day, he can't be hurt. But people and things around him can, and all the strength in the world can't always move the minds of people.

Look at other franchises, like Star Trek. being in the future and mastering technology and space travel should solve 90 percent of the problems that we face today and a big chunk of any that might come up for them. But getting freedom from those constraints allows them to look at issues from different perspectives and new issues people may not have even thought of.

I like the trailer for what it was, but also for what it represents. It shows that this Superman is wrestling not with the limits of his powers but with the limits of what he can do with them without breaking society. It's a lot of smaller vignettes that work, but hopefully, there is some gelling that will make for a singular story path that makes sense.

How many movies can you make like that and keep the audiences interested? People rather see a hero overcome obstacles vs a villain who can kill him, rather than a guy struggling with his morals.

In a perfect world, you can have both. I'm just saying that the internal struggle is as big a part of Superman, if not more so, than with most heroes.

Also, if I were going the have some major action in the movie, I wouldn't dump it in the trailers. I'd save that for the actual movie. But that's just me.
