Followup, take the streetcar down St, Charles Avenue into the Garden District. Eat at some restaurants off of St. Charles (my faves are Zea and Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro.) Go to the Aquarium downtown. Go to Harrah's casino and lose money

Go to Cafe Du Monde in the French Quarter and have some beignets and cafe au lait. Go to one of the jazz playhouses and order overpriced drinks, but hear some banging jazz. Try Bourbon Street and get a Hand Grenade and get insanely drunk

You can also take another streetcar (The Canal Street one) down to view a couple of above-ground cemetaries too. Some people like to see what our cemetaries look like because they are tombs, rather than holes in the ground

Also, go to the French Market (further down Decatur street), and choose some cool finds from vendors out there. Some of it is just plain cheesy, but every now and then, you can find some cool artwork or unique jewelry there.

Need a little help please, in NO atm. Already tried a few suggestions ( thanks for the tip about Zea's Restaurant, good food)

Where can I get a good bananas foster? I see a few spots that have them, but I would rather get a recommendation from the fam.

How the fuck do N.O. natives refer people to chain restaurants?
All the good eateries and you send people to a Zea's or Copeland's?
GTFOH

I am gonna be in town from the 11th thu the 14th. I wanna eat good, Hear some good music, and get some culture. Not too concerned with clubs and stuff. Gonna be with a chick and another couple.

Any suggestions

Heading to Nawlins in a week or two.....

I know about Tipatina's .....that a fa sho...but I need the haps on blues and jazz joints...

Going to Essence July 4th Weekend, where are the hotspots at?

I was just in the NO for the Final Four.
You'll probably be partied out by the time you hit up all the spots on Bourbon Street.
Canal Street was cool too.
Make sure to hit up Harrah's on Canal Street.
Take a bus tour of the city when you get a chance.
The one we took drove us on tour through the whole city (not just the tourist spots) including 9th ward and Central City.
Check out French Market Square and Jackson Square too.

:lol::lol::lol:..:hmm: She She's

I was in New Orleans this past weekend for Jazzfest. She She's wasn't hitting on anything. Club Passions, on the other hand, had some bad broads who was down for WHATEVER. We were able to get 4 to come back to hotel for $150 (not $150 each a total of $150) and they took care of the whole crew.
