I dont agree I think that was a very pivotal moment in Jada personally and the Lox as a whole.
The public always needs a reminder a refresher. And MOMENTS.
I argue that specific versus is one of the biggest milestones in modern hip hop history period.
It catapulted Jada into a level he was not at before (he was NEVER EVER WACK but wasnt on the forefront like he is now) and to another generation of fans.
Shows exploded. Sponsorship exploded. Streams exploded. Exposure exploded.
And being real business black brotherhood, family, professionalism, respect loyalty was highlighted for the first time in a long time in the industry and culture.
Then Jada's son and father popped out.
I could go on.
That moment showed a generation of young artists HOW TO PERFORM.
And helped sustain well into hip hop 50 for veteran acts to return.
I can never under estimate what Jada did with the I shot you verse (especially post covid) did for his career and the industry.
