New Movie Trailer: Taron Egerton faces down the KGB in Cold War thriller about the true story of Tetris

It’s hard to keep up with everything. Lemme know if you ever need any show recommendations.

Generally more of a movie guy but they all suck nowadays with the themes and messaging. But it's in TV too, even animation.

Tried to get into Vox Machina but hard to get past the gay innuendo.

Right now I'm on The Last of Us and Star Wars Andor.

Mandalorian 3 next

Agreed. Good choices with your shows.

Some of the current ones we’re chipping away at are: 1923, Godfather of Harlem, Your Honor, Shrinking and Poker Face.

I hear you but I still like it I went in KNOWING who wrote this and who their real target audience was.

binged 1923 last night, started that shyt and couldn't stop .....

Pretty good debut season. It has slowed down a bit with the Spencer & Alex storyline, but overall a good watch.

Really like the Teonna storyline. She handled things accordingly.

Banner (sheepherder) is one of the best characters.

Can't go wrong with Academy Award nominees Ford and Mirren as the co-leads.

Looking forward to more scenes with Timothy Dalton (playing Donald Whitfield). Liked watching his interactions with Mirren and Banner respectively.

I've seen all through 5.

I didn't play the game so it's all new to me.

@keone has a good thread going about it
I'm in the same boat.. I didn't play the game but had read reviews of it. The onset of gay, lesbian, and transgender characters in the game was a bit of an eyeroll item for me. I figured it was going so show up sooner or later in the series. Thats why I had asked which episode you were on. LOL

This is a fascinating seperate discussion

And he ain't wrong.

Shows like Law and Order etc romantized the abusive rogue white cop

And made tv audiences "hate" IAB and any official bodies that governed the police.

But some would counter showing the police as flawed broken trash also created a latent distrust of law enforcement and the judicial system by ANOTHER segment of the viewing audience.

Watched this over the weekend. It was a very entertaining film. Part history lesson, part espionage, cold war thriller.

If you liked "Halt & Catch Fire" you will like this.
