I don’t know about classic.. an installment that was decent compared to the other trash installments… it is number 3 on the list at best.. a far 3… not going to the movies worthy like the first 2Remember when yall ALL were crying about the predator movie with the girl?

I thought it was pretty good. Some of the scenes there should have been some obvious dialog, like the bus. It demands you pay attention to the movie in our short attention span having society.
Plan on checking it out soon.

Carve out 90 minutes before bed
Goes by quick and is well done.
I don't know if that works (for me) because wouldn't things get more muted as she experienced more trauma? Then you'd have to present from sound from her perspective and like a global perspective. Maybe something to pickup on a rewatchI never thought of that. But I liked how she was so universally tortured that she felt that anywhere anytime she stepped in a room - everything went silent.
It was powerful and resonated with me.
Cause as black person I think we all felt that whether real or imagined.

I feel that. When we experience art, it's our interpretation based on our experiences and then there's what the creator (director or writer, in this case) wants to express. Maybe the director will have some interviews in a few months and we can get that perspective. No not necessarily depends on how it's written. You could flip it the OTHER way where things get noisy and incoherent but still no voices.
But I didn't bump into anything really because I was invested
You raise REALLY good points though.
I try not to get too nitpick cause NOTHING can be held to scrutiny like that and for me it takes away from the fun and the good points
I liked it thought it was clever and would recommend it. That ain't too often so it's enough for me.
If I'm WB DC I hire this guy to do a Constantine or JL Dark movie.
Thanks. Been hearing and reading the reviews of late, and have liked Kaitlyn Dever in her other projects over the years ... most recently in Booksmart a few years back.
