New member/Requirements for the OG board

I have been a member since about 2001 (logged ALL the way off to handle life for a few years...) and have seen it ALL here. The good days of bad women posting, live debates, Darth Harlem, real ocks, and some of the bad like he-who’s-name-we-don’t-day (praise Saint Deuce!), 56k downloads, and deadly FTP’s and their terrorist tranny tactics.
That said, no one is opposed to HNIC and his endeavors to run first, a profitable forum and then a community. So no one would oppose his expanding the business with new members.
I am not alone when I am curious to know why we here - on the OG board - are flooded asinine and deliberately antagonist threads that do not belong on the “OG board.”
In conclusion and to respect your time, I wanted to start a conversation about requirements for new members on the OG board. Of course there are rare members ie. @TheFuser who’s contributions and perspectives fit in perfectly and he could have been down even back then. However, we are subjected to people who create 20 user names daily - because the board has placed the previous 50 on ignore - who want to go against the culture established by the “OG’s” and ruin the vibe of the board.
They can join, but not to the OG board and without requirements...

The old banner used to read that this was a place to “talk sh*t” and was originally known for being a porn board, but there are levels to that. It speaks to an unfortunate level/degree of mental health where people dedicate significant amounts of time to antagonize people that they don’t know and likely would never speak a word to in real life. That co-pay to a mental health specialist is not my business, just stop fukn the vibe up here.

problem with your premise is that there are a lot of coons (like @easy_b) that have been around for a while. The board needs younger posters to provide a fresh perspective and have pride in themselves and their community.

I left the board for a while too and when I came back it turned into Globalist Girl Online.

the golden era of the board is over but there are still improvements that can be made.

props to @HNIC for sustaining it this long as most would have failed.

No one would disagree with you, shieet the amount of things that I have been put up on here in the years I’ve been a member I cannot say thanks enough for. I also recognize that people have the right to say whatever they want because they paid “admission.” I’ve said this before, but if I were to describe this place to someone I wanted to put on - and forgive me for violating the first and second rules of fight club - I would describe this place as a digital hood barber shop. You pull up, get a cut, and talk sh*t about everything from local government, the shitty xxl freshman classes lately, and that bad chick that just walked by. Hustleman might pop in letting people know where to get tires and workout gear for cheap and we might buy it. What won’t happen in the barbershops i know is for some new ninja waiting to get a cut telling us that we shouldn’t objectify that woman because she demands respect or tell a vet that you can’t like buju banton songs because you’re American. That new ninja will get beat up and chased five blocks.
